30 Flash Game Sites and 7 Adult Flash Game Sites

***This article was created by/is owned by http://flashgameworld.blogspot.com/

I know it has been along time, and this site has been kind of dead (even though other parts of * Universe and other things/groups it is associated with have been working hard), which I am sorry about, but I am here again to begin some of the awesome posts/features I have been planning.

I'd like to start with a large (and I plan on having it continuously growing/added to) list of flash game sites (considering that flash games are the focus of this blog, this seems perfectly fitting/important).

In addition to flash game sites (which no matter how big my site is, will not at all include all the flash games sites/ not even those that * Universe and such are associated with), I have decided to add some Adult Flash Game sites (STRICTLY for 18+ or however old you need to be in wherever you live….). I am not at all interested in and do not use Adult Flash Game sites, but I know that it is a type of flash game/flash game site that people like, so I felt like I should research/include it. Considering that none of the sites I have put down I am associated with (since I haven't included any ones that I am connected to at all/ are part of * Universe and such), I am not responsible for what you find there. Although, all of them I have at least briefly looked at, and aside from some ad extremities here and there, should not have any problems/security issues. If you feel like something should be added/taken away from the list for whatever reason, feel free to comment and I will consider what you have said (especially if there is some security issue with a site, I will immediately take it off the list or mark it somehow).

Sorry for the long blabbing… here's the good stuff

30 Flash Game Sites

www.kongregate.com – A flash game site with a large focus on community and has a card/points system in which you earn points and cards (which help you level up/can be used within the sites card game Konga) through challenges within the flash games. Has some great games and shares its ad revenue with game developers and benefits/pays game developers in various ways.

www.newgrounds.com – A well known flash game site with a large selection of games which is constantly receiving new submissions. It has a "blamming" system which, depending on how you look at it, is both good and bad. While the "blamming" system supposedly gets rid of bad quality Flash games and videos, at the same time, anything that is "blammed" is taken off the site. So while it may seem like it filters out the bad stuff, every now and then, depending on your preferences in games (I know from experience) it can filter out something that is actually pretty good (which in that case, I guess you could try to search/find elsewhere, but this can't always be done, so it is sad to see a game/work get "blammed" that you may actually like). In addition, if you are like me, it's kind of disappointing to think that they actually get rid of games instead of keeping all the submissions (I tend to like the idea of not deleting anything better). In addition, unless they have recently changed, I do not thing they organize their games well. They have a few set compiled lists of games put into categories, but other than that, you are just left to sort through the Flash Portal on your own. In reality, the Flash Portal should be separated into different categories such as genre and rating (many of the games, if not all, have an age rating- though some of them get rated incorrectly). Despite this, the site is still popular and nice (especially their audio portal which features some great/ free to download music submissions). Also, finally, I have heard many people say that Newgrounds has a great community, which I guess you can find within the forums…. And rating of games and such, but I can't completely vouch for that.

http://www.2flashgames.com – A site that I used to really like/use, but eventually degraded over time (in my opinion). It has a decent selection of games, but I felt like it went downhill when it started focusing on other stuff (like online videos) and added a large amount of ads. From glancing at it just now for the first time in a while, it looks like they have added "downloadable games" and some other features (along with more annoying flashing ads), but those features don's look too hopeful.

http://www.dailyfreegames.com/ - Came off of a www.2flashgames.com annoying ad that I just mentioned. I guess the sites are part of a Traffic Exchange program shared by multiple flash game sites. Putting that aside, the site looks somewhat respectful. It has some possible fun games and is somehow connected to UGO, which I consider a respectful/more major game site. Has the same set of downloadable games that www.2flashgames.com did, but I am pretty sure they are the games that you have to pay for.

*I would like to take a quick break to mention something here. While I have described the ads/link exchange ads as annoying (which they definitely are), I have considered added some similar type of ads and such. I just felt like I should admit to that, and how they can in some cases be a good idea. But that still doesn't take away from the fact that they are annoying/are an important thing to note in the description of a flash game site.

http://www.whirled.com/ - Has a very large community aspect (including making your own home area/visiting others areas) but mixed with flash games. Similar to Kongregate, and many sites now (I think even newgrounds has it for Gold Members), whirled features trophies/levels and points that you can get from playing various games. It may not be as great of a selection of games as some other sites, but it is growing, and it still has a decent selection with many trophies to be earned. In addition, though almost all flash games sites have at least a few games that are made solely for their sites/are only found on their site/are originally published on their site only/ are the sites creation, Whirled has a few games (including multiplayer ones) that are made specifically by them and I am pretty sure can only be found on their site. Overall a nice site, and I am almost always a fan of the trophy/points concept and communities are pretty nice at flash game sites too.

http://www.addictinggames.com/index.html - Another well known site that features flash, and I am pretty sure, some other formats of online games (such as shockwave). A very nice selection of games categorized and it looks like they added some rating (thumb up/thumb down) features in addition to being able to login/have an account. I stayed away from this site early on, aside from a few trips here and there, because it was becoming too much of the site that almost anyone I knew would automatically go to and was not necessarily the best. Though, it does deserve some credit for their game selection and becoming a very well known site with some gems of games.

http://www.cafe.com/ - A game site that focuses a lot on multiplayer games. Has a ok amount of games, but many of which include a multiplayer aspect. The main idea of this site originally (I had signed up when it was just beginning/was very small – this has been true for me and many sites over the years) was to make an environment where people could play free games with other people (multiplayer). While the site does still seem decent, and has some nice multiplayer games, many of the games are very basic/solely focused on making some type of multiplayer games and they added one of those section where if you pay money you can get upgrades. While I understand that sites need to make money (and I respect that), I hate when sites and free multiplayer games (whether downloadable or not) resort to this type of thing. It's annoying to have to pay to get all of the features, especially when, which is true in many cases, paying gives you a tremendous boost compared to everyone else who doesn't pay. Still, overall, a nice site to play some multiplayer games, some of which, although basic, are in some ways original/fun to have the multiplayer aspect to.

http://armorgames.com/ - I haven't really gone to this site many times in my life, considering that they do a good job spreading around the web their original games/ and all the other games that they have (not necessarily their own original ones) tend to also be spread out all over. Another site where you can get an account and have access to forums. It looks like they categorize their games well and have a pretty nice selection, so it is definitely a game site to consider.

http://www.albinoblacksheep.com – I think I can seriously say that before now, I had only once or twice, if ever, been to this site. There is something very revolting about it that I don't like and nothing above any other flash game site that attracts me to it. While it supposedly has a nice selection of games, in reality, it looks to me like they just have most of the basics/ many games that you can find elsewhere. I'm not a fan of this site at all, but that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't good. Like everything in this world, people have different preferences, and that is what helps the world function/multiple things (rather than just one individual site or whatever) have success. So, you can give it a shot if you want, but I personally have no interest in it.

http://www.zylom.com/us/en/ - I had heard very little about this site until I visited it now/had not visited it that much before now. Another site that has that set of "downloadable games" that you have to pay for. While some sites have actual free downloadable games (sometimes flash game sites have this…), in many cases, flash games sites (and other game download sites) have these ones that you can get a free trial for (very small/short), but to get the whole thing you have to pay for. The sites flash game selection seems very basic/nothing amazing, and is composed of many games which are just online version of the downloadable games (are real basic online games used to advertise the actual downloadable version of the game). So in my mind, nothing really here.

http://games-garden.com/ - Another site that I have had very little experience with, but actually looks respectable. Has what looks like a decent selection of categorized games and a very small trophy element. It looks like the trophies mostly have to do with how many games you have played/who has played the most, but it still is better than having no trophies. Looks like a possible site/maybe I will explore this one more. Like many other flash game sites, it also has a list of "friends" (usually a link exchange type of thing) so you can possibly find some more (in addition to any sites that I may add to here from different sites' like this friends and link exchanges) sites to try out.

http://www.bigfuntown.com/ - Even though this site looks like it has a very poor/basic design, there are some nice aspects about it. It has a pretty good amount of games in many categories and it looks like they have some gems. From what I have seen, it does not have too many ads. All different sites, like many different things in life, are good for different reasons. So this site, including others on my list (and not on my list), even if they are small/basic, may be good for different reasons / have some great original games.

http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/ - This is one from way back in my past. So to visit it now was kind of pleasing. Has a very limited amount of games, but it seems like they are all originals of the site. Like I have seen other people describe this site, even though it has a small amount of games, many, if not all, of the games are creative, artistic, and possibly puzzling. It may not be a site to visit all the time/forever, but you should pay some time to some of the games here/try it out.

http://www.gamesorbiter.com/ - Another one that I have little to now experience with, but I will give you what I have on it. Seems like a decent amount of games, but nothing particularly impressive. Although, it does have some nice categories and it counts the plays that members have (and then lists who has played the most). Like I have mentioned before about many sites having this, it has a list of "friends" to consider. Not amazing, but seems like a little amount of ads, and an ok quality of games, so maybe you should consider this.

http://www.gametion.com/ - Very little experience with this one again, but it looks like it has a pretty good amount of games. Some of them look very dumpy, but it also looks like it has some possibly very nice games. MANY categories to choose from (which I think is kind of nice), but a possibly lame design to it (with some bad grammar mixed in). Definitely consider this one, but not too much out of the ordinary, though I think I will consider this one more in the future.

http://www.chinesegum.com – Someone claimed this had 4,000 games on it, but I cannot verify this for sure. Not a great selection of categories, but some possibly good games. Has some developer tools area where they claim to be focused on "the Female Gamer" and have a good communication between developers and gamers (and then goes on to name some "partners"). I went into the site expecting more, but I don't know how much it ended up satisfying me. AD scheme /amount of ads isn't working for me.

http://www.funny-games.biz/main.html - I have actually liked this site a pretty good amount over the recent years. Has a large selection of games in categories. Although the site may be designed a little hectically and have other possible junk (it might be good… I haven't actually looked at it) hanging around like jokes, cartoons, and pictures, I think it has some very nice games and a good amount. Definitely check this out. It also includes a selection of downloadable games. Although some of these are possibly ones you have to pay for, I know for a fact that at least some of them are freeware/free. I have liked this site and I think it is definitely one to consider.

http://www.freegamearchive.com/ - A foreign site (Czech I believe) that has a English translated version. It has many different flash games in addition to a great selection of "Free Games" (Freeware/Free downloadable games) and "Mobile/Java" games. While over the years I have eyed this more for its vast amount of Freeware games (the "Free Games" section), I have also noticed it to have a decent amount of flash games, so definitely go here as one of many Freeware/Free Downloadable Games sites, and a good one to consider too for Flash Games. Note** the flash games/online games for this site are under the "Online" tab/are labeled "Online."

***This article was created by/is owned by http://flashgameworld.blogspot.com/

http://freeonlinegames.com/ - A have seen this name plastered on some good games over the past few years. In addition, the site has a decent amount of games and a large amount of categories. You can sign up to receive emails about new games/great games (I have seen this on other sites too) and you can embed/add to your site some games (another respectable feature that I have seen elsewhere). An add games to your site tab leads you to http://www.freegamesforyourwebsite.com/ which has games that can be embedded. I don't know how that site is connected to freeonlinegames.com or whether it is or not, but it looks like a decent list of embeddable games.

http://www.gamesfree.ca/ - looks like a nice selection of games with categories (including "Our Games" … which I shows the games affiliated/from this site (like I mentioned earlier that game sites have)). Has a decent amount of "friends" to visit, and looks like it has some nice original and action games. Definitely consider this. The video ad that I always had can get annoying, but it still looks decent.

http://en.t45ol.com/ - Another site from my past with a decent selection of games and categories. I liked it a lot back in the day, and it still looks like it is pretty good. Definitely check this one out.

http://www.funorb.com – Looks small and basic. But possibly a couple of ok games. Nothing special though.

http://www.frooga.com/ - Not that much experience with this, but it has an ok amount of games and a few categories. Once again, nothing that really impresses me that much though.

http://www.geewa.cz/ - Another Czech website, which is in the Czech language (and therefore many of you may consider useless). Looks like it may have a decent amount of games and an interesting chat/messenger thing on the side which appears immediately once you enter the site. Though, as I said, not having English may make it useless or at least difficult.

http://www.fizzy.com/ - Don't know much about it, but looks like it has a small/ok collection of games. Watch out for the games that are VIP/you need to pay to play those. Seems like it has a small leveling up /points system. Paying in order to get a few VIP games (if you want to) seems annoying, and there aren't a ton of games, but this still could possibly be interesting.

http://www.gamegum.com/ - Another ok sized site. A few categories and some possibly good games. Maybe consider it.

http://www.pogo.com/home/home.do - Well known site. A decent amount of games many of which are multiplayer. You can earn money/points/bucks that can be used to enter self in drawings for prizes and stuff. There is chat for almost every game if not all. Game selection, many of which are multiplayer, includes some versions of board games such as Scrabble and others. Definitely a good one to visit. I like this site and visit it every once in a while. Pretty sure has a trophy type of option if you pay. Club Pogo is the name of the type of VIP account you can pay for.

http://www.games.com// - Well known and owned by aol /aim (so you need one of those accounts). A type of game site like pogo.com where many games are multiplayer. Similar structure to pogo and has some fun games, but also with the addition of being able to buy some games I am pretty sure. Like Pogo, it is decent / a good site to visit in order to fulfill the interest in that type of online game site.

http://zone.msn.com/en-us/home - Another well known type of Pogo/games.com type of site. Multiplayer games, Games to pay for/download, and some well known and board games like Uno. Once again, good for an interest in that type of game site.

http://www.omgpop.com/#/home - Not a large amount of games (small amount for now) but many are original and creative games. Has an XP/Level/points system. Seems like a fun game site with good community and that level up system. Looks like it has a nice layout with chat/chat rooms included. So check it out.

7 Adult (18+) Flash Game Sites

**Important note – I don't use these sites/have nothing to do with them, so I can't promise you as detailed of reviews as some of the sites in the Flash Games category above. Though, I do know enough to tell you these sites are strictly for adults/18 +/however old you need to be in where you reside to follow the laws on Adult Content/Porn and such. Here it is:

http://www.funny-games.biz/adult.html - A subsection of the www.funny-games.biz site above. Looks like it has a ton of games but also ads sporadically mixed in… some that may look like normal links within the site but are actually ads possibly.

www.2adultflashgames.com – Another site that is associated with site above, which is www.2flashgames.com. Has a decent amount of adult games, adult videos, adult pictures, hentai videos, and hentai pictures. Annoying Adult Friend Finder and such ads can pop up sporadically.

http://www.adult-flash-games.com/index - A decent amount of games but annoying ads all over the place. Some that pop up from the bottom which are annoying in my opinion.

http://www.newgrounds.com/collection/adultfeatures.html - Sub-section of Newgrounds (see above). This is a grouping off adult games/flash videos that have been put together by the site. If you search around the flash portal you can find more adult videos/games here and there.

http://www.gamesofdesire.com/ - Have a lot of ads mixed in with games (some of which are designed to look like normal games/ and therefore trick you in a sense). I am pretty sure the site has many games that are associated with/made by them though they have spread to other sites.

http://www.pornstararcade.com/ - Has a TON of ads/links (friend links/link exchanges/links in general) mixed in with some games. Lots of ads – some that pop up from bottom/are videos….

http://www.sexygames.dk/ - Once again, lots of ads. Some games… and some that I think are ads but designed to look like games/trick you.

*********

While the majority of these websites I got from my own navigating the web (and all of them I at least briefly researched), a few of them I picked here and there from other lists of flash games and such, including:

http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/muo-games-the-best-places-for-flash-games/

*********

Thank you for looking at the list. I hope you enjoy the games and sites. If you feel like any should be taken off/ added/ or description changed, feel free to tell me via the comments. I would appreciate it. Have fun! And keep checking http://flashgameworld.blogspot.com/ for new content ;)

IMPORTANT NOTE ON FLASH GAMES AND SITES AND SUCH

While many game sites have many games... there are some things that are important to remember

1. Sometimes games are given to a specific site/have certain contracts...... so if it seems like a site has posted a game they should not have, inform the original author/real author of the game. Also, sometimes people copy games that are not theirs. They do minor things such as change the colors or whatever and sometimes even put it as the exact SAME THING! IF YOU SEE THIS... MAKE SURE YOU INFORM THE ORIGINAL/REAL AUTHOR

2. Even though you may think that the sites you are checking always have the same games, that is not necessarily true. They will have many overlaps. But many sites also have games that are specifically made for their site and their site only. So it is still fun to check, and also, this is why you should be careful of sites that take flash games they shouldn't have.

Be respectful of my and other author and/or flash game creators works and don't infringe on copyright
