in addition to the new ideas i had talked of before, i thought of a few other things, which will be implemented very soon in posts coming in the near future (the other ideas i had talked about in my last post, in addition to the tons of ideas i have /always have will still be considered and maybe added at some point)

I know it has been awhile, i am sorry, and i know it seems like i just keep making promises/talk about things that never happen, and i hate that it seems like i am just lying, but i have had some work i had to do and such........

but this is still a MAJOR focus, and i really am going to get down to it. I just jotted down some really good ideas that i am excited about for the future.... (in addition to adding some more normal stuff i have done...)

New gadget added/more to come!

I just added my first gadget (of the MANY gadgets/great gadgets there are out there)....

It's just a list of the labels/tags/topics i have done so far..... it's not that impressive, but the fact that i put it up shows you i am in the middle of working and will probably be doing more work....

3 featured games on kongregate now that i like

I know i have said a ton of times that i am not only focused on kongregate and that there are tons of other sites out there, which is true, and yet i have been doing a lot on kongregate....

This is because of the limited amount of time i have had and things they have had on kongregate/mixed with the other work and games and games here and there on other sites that i have done....

so the statements i have made about it not being the only site that i like and such.... are still and always will be true....

but here we go anyway... right now September 05 08 6:33 PM Eastern Coast Time three games being featured on the little thing that switches on Kongregate's homepage are Battalion:Nemesis, Vector Runner, and Arachnophilia.

Tons of games are great for various reasons, and i have some reasons for being at least interested in each of these games. Battalion:Nemesis i haven't actually played yet, but i'm sure it will be fun, because it is modeled after Advance Wars (from gameboy advance.... i think??), which i know many people liked. And the cartoony color style seems cool.

In terms of vector runner, not only is it possible one of those little quick games that gets you addicted and never wanting to stop / give up..... but it also reminded me of an arcade game i used to play where you would sit on this thing and get a steering wheel with buttons to shoot. You would then fly this hovering type of craft (which would get better the less you get hit/better you did) that you would fly around/dodge/shoot things.

The last game, Arachnophilia, which is under the same kongregate account, which is DigYourOwnGrave, as Vector Runner. ** By the way, Battalion: Nemesis is by urbansquall** In terms of Arachnophilia, it is just a very original/in some ways odd game where you are a spider and make a web which you use to capture and eventually eat various types of flies. It's quirky, but fun once you get the hang of it.

as i have said before, there are many many many many many, tons tons tons tons, etc...

of flash games and flash game sites, ... and this applies to tons of different things in this world

flash games are just one of many types of games.... there are freeware games... free browser mmorpgs... free downloadable mmorpgs.... etc... tons and tons ... and that is just for GAMES....which is not the only thing in the world...

I will in now way be able to cover all the flash games and/or flash games sites .. or other things related to flash games...

NO ONE in reality could do this for any topic...

but i will do my best to give you info on a large number of flash games and such (even if that just ends up being less than 1 percent of all flash game things....)

no site /place .... not even a combination of sites in reality could cover more than a very minuscule amount of flash games and info and such...

there is always more out there and sometimes even things that no one knows except for a very small group...

I basically just wanted to say this because i know some people (like me) like finding out a ton of information on various topics and strive to learn EVERYTHING about a topic... this is impossible... with all the work of even the hardest worker who dedicates there life to just one topic, they would still be limited to a small, very small, percent of things in that topic

i don't want to discourage anyone, because even one site can give you a ton / enough to last more than a lifetime, and it is still good to investigate and such, but like myself and other people know and in some cases have talked about (and it's not even just me who knows this.... many people know this/talk about it in some way or another) don't get sucked into/obsessed with the idea of becoming perfect at one thing and knowing everything and finding everything...

in addition ..... you can click on the "older posts" button near bottom of page (but still above some things).... it can not be seen too well, so you have to look out for it, but it is there...

Quick update on identity/copyright.....

I know i have mentioned this before.... and don't want to annoy people with it....... but i have talked to various people about it, and seen various discussions about it, and various things online about it, and various examples of people pretending to be other people they aren't committed, and etc....

So........

Don't ever believe anyone is me (online or not), unless i personally tell you in some way it is me

------- even if they have a similar name to me

In some cases i am related to something that me seem like me, or it may even be me, but there are also plenty of cases where people have stolen names i have created........

In addition to some people using the names because they are related to me in some way/me okaying it, and therefore it being okay, there are many out there that just steal things and pretend to be others......

So just watch out....


I have definitely/possible said more than i need to, but i think it is an important thing to remember in many different cases/for many different people online....

And more and more people are being effected from it/are trying to stop it (people i know/ am connected with.... and other people in general)

So i won't try to bug you anymore about it.... and i know i already have some very serious/detailed "important notes" or "guidelines" or whatever one the page....

But just remember that! And please never steal any of my stuff or anyone elses.... or do any crime like that, such as, but not limited to pretending to be someone else/stealing their identity (whether it is online or in person), stealing people stuffs, copyright, etc...

I have some future posts planned out, so expect to see them soon, and i am seriously planning on adding some of the google gadgets, and maybe some other stuff--- The internet provides almost/if not unlimited resources and such, and the internet is just one thing in this world....

So, therefore, i expect to add some more stuff, but that can change at any time depending on what i am thinking/ideas i have/what i see/what i want/etc....

but i am pretty sure of a few future post ideas i have and the google gadgets (like the igoogle stuff, which i love) being added ;)

I am not a big fan of the flash game Intrusion... but its okay

You run to the right with a guy who you can make jump and shoot enemies... i kept getting caught at the early point where you get blocked in a little area and a helicopter flies over and continuously drops soldiers for you to fight....

As always, any game that someone is able to make is impressive in the sense that they made a game, this is one of those obvious things that i would include in my list of things that are automatic and i don't need to repeat

but beyond that, in terms of my own personal beliefs right now, it's not that great of a game.... and i did not extremely enjoy it, although i can see why some people would like it. And i don't hate it, it was a little amusing. Just not my favorite

Special Kongregate week/ Google Gadgets...

I haven't been on the internet much lately...... i have done a combination of watching the Olympics (Go USA!) and a ton of other work i have.....

Therefore i missed the beginning of "Buried Treasure Week" on Kongregate :(

The week sounds pretty exciting so i am disappointed i have missed it. They have a new challenge everyday in addition to the challenges they make every week and such. I guess the idea is unlike the usual challenges which tend to last 7 days or more, you basically just have 24 hours or less to complete it.

I plan on starting doing them so i can get some more points for myself.

So that is, of course, at www.kongregate.com

And despite the fact that i have been talking a lot about Kongregate, that really is in no way the only/best flash site out there....

there are tons now, and i just by coincidence, in addition to the fact that it is one, of many, decent flash game site, been talking about it


Also...... if you don't know, Google has just set it up so that you can start adding Google Gadgets, as used in Igoogle (which for another gmail account i have used a bunch of)

So, i plan on incorporating some interesting gadgets, of the obvious ton, into the site

err..... i seriously plan on doing more....

I know, that once again, i was off for awhile. And even though that is somewhat understandable, i really do plan on doing more work here. So far the site has gotten zero traffic :( ...... i am the only person that has visited it, but maybe there is some hope for the future ;)

even if there isn't, that's fine, i'm having fun with it anyway. And i am not giving up, there will be more in the near future.

once again.. sorry it has been awhile, and i plan on being better about the blog.... but i have lots of other things going on.... THOUGH that is not an excuse... so here

Kongai, the long awaited Kongregate Card Game (using cards you earn from Kongregate's Challenges) has finally been released to everyone...

I have been a member of Kongregate for a really really long time/very early on and have been waiting for this game forever, so it is nice to play it.

But now that it is here, while it is fun, it is not as great as i had been anticipating. Don't get me wrong, it's amusing, and fun to play against others online and be rewarded for earning cards through challenges, but it has nothing out of the ordinary for a card game.

Maybe i will eventually like it... we'll just have to see...

NOTE- i know it seems like i do a lot of kongregate things, and this is in no way the only site i like out of the almost infinite that exist, i just recently have had lots of things to say about it

E3!!!/Sorry

I am sorry it has been awhile since i posted.... and i plan on doing more. But here is some info to remember

1. E3 is going on now... i have tried to find an exact answer for this, but i can get one but here is what i do know= For TV most/all coverage is on G4(tv).... but in terms of online, gaming sites like gamespot.com and ign.com and various blogs will have coverage..... i don't know if they have any more live streaming than G4 .... but i know they have stuff. I guess there may also be other sites out there, but like i said, i don't know for sure. You can also find various streams of stuff like G4 on streaming/webcam/live streaming blogs and shows sites like justin.tv

the main thing to remember is even though i have tried hard, i can't get a definite answer on E3 coverage... but i know you can check/watch G4, various gaming sites, blogs, etc...

**** g4tv.com = live coverage of press conferences and stuff.....

Some games i hate.....

There are plenty of flash games that i hate, but there are a couple i just wanted to mention right now. Both of these are somewhat liked by large groups of people (It also depends on what community/site you are talking about)... but at least for Kongregate, i know these games are respected

1. Fancy Pants...... i Just completely hate those games. They are really boring, and have plenty of moments where they just randomly run slow.

2. Indestructo tank..... When you get a large number of enemies it starts running slow (you can probably see by now that i really hate when flash games run slow) and it just is boring after awhile.

NOTE - Of course, just the fact that these flash games were made/that the authors were able to make them is great! Making a game is hard and good job to them. I am just saying, that once we get past the automatic greatness for the game/author since making flash games is hard, I, personally do not like them.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING- The links i give tend to be only from one of many places you can find the game.... every one in a while the link may be the only site that the game is on, but games tend to make there way around. Just be careful to watch out for some sites where the game has been stolen/copied/submitted/posted without permission.

Particles - one of my favorite flash games

I have tons upon tons upon tons of favorite sites, flash games (in addition to online games, java games, shockwave games, freeware games, etc..), flash games music (free legal music), etc...

and here is one of my favorite games and it includes one of my favorite songs (found on Newgrounds Audio Portal)

It is extremely basic, but i loved it from the moment i discovered it (Which was when it was the game that you had to play in order to win the challenge for a card on Kongregate.com)

Not Necessarrily Flash Games, but Flash Game Music

I don't think people realize it enough, but indie/free music (legal) that you find over the internet, such as at the Newgrounds Audio Portal (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/), can actually be very good! Especially, but not limited to, for personal use (ipod or whatever) or for putting in flash games/movies.

I have a ton of music that i like that is Free and Legally Free/ is given out by artists under a license where you can have it for free... and plenty of it comes from the Newgrounds Audio Portal

but here is one of my recent favorites and the person has made a few versions of it. I didn't really like the first one, but i liked the second and the third so here are the links. NOTE- Song is by Newgrounds user Envy ( http://envy.newgrounds.com/ ) So nice job to Envy, it's a good song!
